that's absurd. he wouldnt do that, and if he is the type that would - why are you even interested in him. your fear is completely irrational. I know im comming off as a jerk, but seriously, i can't imagine a boy that would do that or say that

This could have been written about a girl.
and its perfectly plausible.
eventually the relationship will fail because one person will like the other a lot more and might come off as obsessive, clingy or whatever.
and if they didnt feel guilty when they agreed to the relationship, they might eventually feel guilty for leading the other person on.
BUT: I say its worth it. Why couldn't s/he have the same feelings for you? is that person worth the risk?
