On Facebook, or any other computer/internet venue, trust no one and nothing; all is not as it seems:

That is just one real complication.

The cure: keep computers very much in the background when it comes to human interaction.

You'd better believe that adults do lots of devious and disgusting things on the internet. Some of them purposely to hurt kids.

That story is really, really sad. I can understand doing something as a joke, but that whole thing just goes way too far and it's hard to see how people who are supposed to be mature adults can have that much malicious intent towards a thirteen year-old. That, I don't understand.
