One of my good friends seems to be trying to ditch me. Perhaps this is just my paranoia kicking in but it seems that they are ignoring all my attempts at contact. Perhaps they think they are too cool for me now, or maybe they just are lazy. I don't know.

Have you tried straight up asking them if they wanted to hang out and then seeing their response?
its more that i try to setup a outing of somesort with the crowd we both hung out with and they dont ever respond. So not so much that they are trying to ditch me so much as they have forgotten there old friends.
or maybe you're beign unreasonable. but maybe get another friend to call them or ask them the same thing, and see how the respond to the third party.
I have had this happen to me and it sucks :(
