Between $20 and $50 a month (4 weeks), according to this site: http://www.kidshealth.org/teen/sexual_health/contraception/contraception_birth.html

Nineteen a month at planned parenthood -- you just have to pay for the first initial visit to the doctor there (which I believe is around fifty dollars) and then you are good to go for the year

If you complain about irregular periods/menstrual cramps enough, you can probably get your parent to make you an appt. with a gynecologist, who will promptly put you on birth control. And then you dont have to pay for it, or hide it.

^That's totally what I did. If you ask about going on a birth control medication to control violent mood swings, long periods, bad cramps, or severe acne, your mom will probably have no objections to you getting a prescription. And the bonus is that it totally helps with all that! I used to have awful 8-day periods, and now I can get through one on like five pads! Also I do not become pregnant while making love with my boyfriend, but my mom doesn't need to let that trouble her mind.
