>> OP
You're staying overnight at your friend's house. Sleep in your car, that's what I do.

Because your life is so much better, huh?

Yes actually.

Meh.

Do what you have to.

I'm just slightly disappointed that drinking in general has become far too romanticized in most teenage circles, quite like smoking. Only there really isn't a James Dean or Clint Eastwood to blame it on.

But who am I to judge-right?

Tis your booze your blood and your belly.

Besides, all this purchesing of alcohol and the money changing hands due to court fees and funeral costs of drunk driving accidents, as well as insurance payments, all goes to helping the economy.

So I really can complain but so much.

Does it really help the economy when the ones who died in drunk-driving could've instead be alive and work-- making money and spending over the course of their lives? Or maybe some of them would be too stupid to be able to get a real job.

Oh alcohol, you get such a bad reputation because there are so many stupid people in this world.

there is just a stigma with alchol and drugs. there are plenty of wonderful and amazing people who drink and do drugs. they are not pieces of shit because of it. people need to realize that ones character is not determined by drugs or alcohol.

Would you like to name some of those wonderful people please?

Well, Peter Jennings was no doubt amazing. But his life was unfortunately cut short because of his smoking habit.

^No, character is not determined by drugs or alcohol, but I don't think it's too much of a stretch to assume that the person who goes to a party expressly for the reason of "getting real drunk" is someone who doesn't trust themselves to be interesting enough to have a good time while sober. Social drinking is one thing, but drinking to get drunk (especially while your body is still young and developing) is just asking for cirrhosis, heart disease, and cancer.

I knew that i would get drunk at the party but i didnt go to the party to get drunk.

2nd
Would you rather me drink and drive home? certainly you can argue against drinking, if im going to drink then i dont want to cause harm to anyone else.

Getting drunk isn't so bad as long as you make sure you get drunk responsibly.

4th
call me what you will but honestly being the only sober person at a hospital is incredibly boring/ depressing.
