People on Tangst are some of the cruelest, most judgmental people I've ever known.
The Internet makes people too brave.

Post anything that you want - a story, a secret, a confession, a fear, a love - anything. Post twice if you'd like. And then share the site with your friends.

It seems to me that the commentators are only cruel when people post really angsty comments. Just because this is galled 'teen angst', it doesn't mean that you can post about how terrible your teenage life is with boys, girls, drama, friends. People need to learn that being angsty and pubescent is fucking annoying.
They're just being realists. If you're having a bad day with friends, go visit them damn it. Don't whine about it. If your boyfriend is abusing you, dump his ass. If your girlfriend is being overbearing, do something about it. We have every right to mock you for complaining about your not-so-shitty life. That is why the internet is fun.
Although i do admit that when people have legitimate problems, they should get real advice.
We just the commenters, too.
Oh, I guess I was mistaken. I thought that this was a place where you were allowed to talk about everything and anything, no matter how annoying. All I'm saying is that maybe if people were a little less cruel, it would make the world a bit of a better place. People with annoying posts need love and acceptance too, not snide, rude comments.
um... Have you ever met 4chan?
I think someone missed the irony of the name tangst.
its not tangst, its anonymity that makes people more aggressive.
I think that is being more aggressive. If you hold back you being less aggressive.
It would "make the world a better place"? Alright, Hallmark. The world would be a terrible place if none of us spoke our minds. I'm generally one of the people who avoids rude comments, but you are being ridiculous. Just laugh it off, if you're worried about somebody judging you based on a single post on an anonymous website then you've got deeper issues than tangst can help you with.
To be fair, we all have the right to comment and even further, by posting here one is essentially asking for those comments.
Sometimes they are helpful, sometimes people are assholes. I would say in real life you open yourself up to that too, it isn't just the internet.
Although if you find something annoying it might be easier to just click to the next post.
