As a sophomore in Ms. Paradise's English class, I believe that going to her class each day is a little piece of paradise.

Oh dear God. We've already had the whole teacher crush thing. Please don't let it happen again.

You know, they could just be talking about enjoying the class, the learning, and Ms. Paradise's teaching style. This isn't neccessarily a teacher crush post.

Wish I could say the same about my English class.

It's more of a descent in to the Inferno than a trip to paradise.

Oh well, that's the luck of the draw I guess.

Or maybe God just hates me...

Thanks for clearing that one up, DocA.

Now I can sleep in no peace whatsoever at night, waiting for that lightning bolt to fall.

Actually, considering the trials and tribulations of finding a prom date, maybe the bolt did fall and landed just left of center.

anyone can find a prom date. its just a matter of standards.

True that, true that.

But I was actually refering to the difficulty I had actually asking, having planned three seperate times to ask but having circumstances ruin my attempts.

first of all, choose a nice person, regardless of whether they're a "friend" or not. and then, if they say no, just laugh it off to take the pressure off them and you. as long as you don't avoid them or act like a droopy-eyed puppy in their presence if they turn you down, i think you'll be okay.
