I could have posted this. Perhaps a little while ago for the second part to be accurate, but the first still holds true, exactly as it's written there.
I hate this dynamic so much. The best friend who I loved, maybe the OP loves, but isn't single and has this ridiculous boyfriend. And then things happen that give you hope but SMACK! no hope to be found.
Haha, actually- I'm a girl who hates her best friend's boyfriend and thinks that her friend could do much, much better because her boyfriend is really, REALLY sketch (for lack of a better word). She says she loves him more than her friends, but she doesn't act like it. I doubt she even loves him at all and it's just a hormonal "yay he likes me!" thing.
I understand where you're coming from though, Doc A (in an inverse way, where I hated this boy's girlfriend). Whatever. As long as you can relate :D
So apparently, my friends are posting entries about me... retroactively. I was The Best Friend in the past. My true friends hated him, he used me, abused me to some extent, and I pretended that I loved him more than life itself.
The whole time, I subconsciously hated him and consciously hated life, too.
Oh DA, I feel we all misplace our hatred towards him. He's really not all that bad a guy and none of us really know him. He doesn't really flaunt anything and he may tell her about stuff but he never really brings his dislike to our attention.
It's really her actions that are brining you the hatred towards him eh?
Eh, probably.
There are other reasons too, things that he's done and that I've heard about him from her.
Oh, hah, I haven't heard 5 setences out of the boy.
