I watched a discovery channel show about sex and beauty (yeah one of those) that was saying how symmetrical people get laid more, get better jobs, make more money, etc, all because other people's subconsciouses like you more if you're beautiful. I've been paranoid ever since. --My eyes aren't even--! I know it's absolutely retarted, but it would completely suck if my life was worse off from the start all because of some gene glitch or sinus infection that made my face crooked.
God damned deterministic universe...

same deal with being a visible minority. or with having a genetic tendency to be overweight.
i also heard the people with closer set eyes are viewed to be more beautiful.
they did this test with babies where they flashcarded faces in front of them and recorded the time it took for the baby to look away, and apparently the babies stared longer at people with closer set eyes.
... i hope your eyes aren't asymetrical AND wideset, or i totally just ruined your day.
The fact that the plethora of normal, average, non-outstanding guys who are attracted to normal, average, non-outstanding indicators of beauty will pass you by won't matter in the least when you find the exceptional one who will look in your eyes, and find glorious beauty in your deviation from the norm.
