Post anything that you want - a story, a secret, a confession, a fear, a love - anything. Post twice if you'd like. And then share the site with your friends.

chances are youre being selfish or immature.
confront yourself. figure out why.
If you can't be seen with him, maybe you don't deserve him.
calm down guys, maybe he's a weirdo.
The tension in this post is disturbing to me.
Why do we as human beings feel the innate desire to criticize that of which we do not understand?
Possibly, as pchis says, the guy is a weirdo.
But that does raise the question of why you have allowed the relationship to continue down what is obviously not a positive road.
well, you can really like someone and individually appreciate who they are, but it can be hard to be seen with them if a lot of other people don't like them, or don't see the same things you do in them. i've turned guys down before for just that reason: that i knew it would be hard to be a public couple.
My idea, and keep in mind that I tend to was romanticist (without the capital R), is that a relationship should be founded on the fact that you like someone enough to accept who they are without regard to what others think about them. Lord knows that my life would be so much less interesting if I tried to shape my friends and relationships around what I felt others would accept.
Don't get me wrong, I understand what you are saying. I just find it hard to agree with. The person you are dating does not change into someone else in public, so if you can accept him/her in private, why not in public?
That's just my take on things, and I don't hold your feelings against you. Just wanted you all to know that.
but people can be different in public. My ex was adorable in private, but was very socially awkward.
I definitely understand that, considering I'm sometimes the exact same way.
But I still think that your feelings for someone should transcend (yay fun word) anybody else's opinion of them.
You still know who they are and what they're like, why does it matter what others think?
