I always end up comparing myself to these crazy overachievers at school. I'll talk to them and they'll be like "oh yeah, my rank is 12...thats so bad!" and i'm sitting there thinking about how i'm 80 something. They'll be complaining about how they have a B in a class, and i'm thinking about how I have a C and almost all Bs. Why do I compare myself to them? oh yeah. because i'm asian.

hahhaahaha i know what you mean
well the upside is that you probably wont get heart disease aaannnddd you can use chopsticks.
invaluable skill alert!
wait, I'm 8th in the class, my mom was born in japan, I'm 5 levels ahead in math, I play piano, we have 20 lb. bags of rice in our basement, AND I can use chopsticks...am I asian yet?
do your grandparents want you to marry another asian?
They were happy that my uncle married one, does that count?
"well the upside is that you probably wont get heart disease aaannnddd you can use chopsticks. "
uh, who said being asian means you have to be oriental? there are other countries in asia you know.
Alright, now you're talking semantics...there's russia, which is white, not asian. There's india, and you guys are a subcontinent, sorry.
Pakistan, middle east, etc. etc. are all referred to by their general place. When you say Asian you mean "Oriental." I'm not cauccasion but that hasn't stopped me from having to put that on my tests instead of "white."
I thought Oriental was somewhat perjorative, and that to properly refer to one of our Eastern neighbors, the term "Asian" was used.
just a heads up most ppl feel pressure about their grades not just asian
Asian is the preferred terminology for humans, furniture is "oriental", and pressure is felt by anoyone who is human.
