There's a boy.. He's younger than I am but I think I like him... we're going to a dance tonight and I'm extremely exicited.. I just don't know what to do about liking him because my best friend dated him and he broke up with her because he ended up not being able to stand her.. This friend also has been treating me like crap lately.. so any advice?

It's so easy to get caught between a friend and a boy (or girl). But him not being able to stand your best friend has nothing to do with you, and might not have anything to do with his general mindset for . Don't let that ruin for you what could otherwise be a very fulfilling relationship.
If your best friend is treating you like crap, talk to her! Ask her why she's being so crazy. Maybe it's just a dynamic between you two that needs to be worked out, but best friends normally can accept input from their best friend. Normally they try to change based on the input. But nothing will get done if you don't confront her on it.
