A limo for a big group at prom is silly enough, but for a date?! That's just ridiculous. You speak of it as if taking a limo out every saturday night were an actual possiblity. I wouldn't be suprised though, seeing as how your parents find spending $35,000 on a -car- perfectly acceptable.
People like you make me sick. (ie. People who have more money than God, brag about it, and then pretend they have all all these awful problems requiring our immediate sympathy) Toss out your trust fund and go live in a slum for a few years, then you can complain.
I hope that car flips into a ditch and gets totalled.
^Woah anonymous 1.
Insecure much, dude? That's pretty petty and childish.
I think cool cars are cool >_>
I think people who assume that money means you can't have problems are not cool.
I have a limo booked with a group for prom. Yes, it's expensive and probably overpriced, but spending ridiculous amounts of money is what prom is all about.
And anon1, you really need to take a chill pill.

whooaaa sir, 35k is certainly not economical but it is FAR FAR FAR from being those sickeningly rich people.
I agree with you however that the whole bragging about a car, especially your parents', is rather childish.
I must subsequently disagree again, however, because I think rich people have a lot of problems just as poor people do, they just don't happen to be economic, and if they do, it's more of a quarterly profits problem rather than a life or death problem. If a family wants to spend 300k on their maybach then that's a bit steep, but other expensive cars are not a problem to buy unless you sacrifice living conditions or what have you in order to get them.
What I hate is people with huge mansions and gigantic SUVs who say that "taxes" are the reason they can't afford certain essentials...but that's probably just the liberal in me speaking.
I'm driving a 96 ford ranger to prom that looks like it can barely roll around any more...
it's b-b-because i'm cool and bohemian? right guys? right!?
