Knowing most of the admins in RL, I find it hard to believe that people on this site think of them as godlike. (This stems from the post a couple posts back about the characteristics of the various admins.)
But mostly, I just find it pitiful.

The closest I'm ever going to get to God status is if I ever follow through with the plan to wear a still-suit to our "Desert Oasis"-themed Prom.
Because Mua'dib pwns all.

Not godlike, no. More... textlike. If that makes any sense whatsoever.

Where do you people get this idea that admins and contributors are seen as gods by anyone but ourselves (by which I mean, only the admins and contributors, if they are arrogant, such as myself, see themselves as demagogues on this site)? No one else seems to hold us in any high regard.
Maybe that's just me.
