That's one of the hardest promises to make. I know because that's my major one. (Jealousy, that is.) If it becomes too much of a promise maybe you should reconsider why you wanted to make it in the first place. If it was to appease him, that might not be a reason to keep at it. I think, personally, that those sorts of resolutions are the ones we should make only for ourselves.
