if that movie would of been about how the holocaust was a scam or how muhammad and the caliphs tried to hide something from the world and it claimed to be based on facts...you wouldnt of gone to watch it.

is this about the da vinci code?
Time to play "just ignore Anonymous 1 who wants attention through his joke?" I'm game.
And yes, anon 3. I'd say this post is about the da vinci code. it has the pseudochristians (and some of the hard-core ones, but for differnet reasons) in a stink.
Yeah... some Christians have problems with it.. but plenty of non-christians do as well, though the rest of us average joes may not like it just because it isn't all that interesting.
The one thing i dont really like about books like the da vinci code is that most of them have very little basis on fact but people tend to get caught up and take them as fact. I personally have no problem with it bashing christianity if it indeed does but I dont like the hawking of streched facts and conspiracys as hard evidence.
huh. you know i really don't care about the controversial stuff because it made a good plot and was interesting even if it isn't true. isn't "stretching of reality" and suspension of disbelief what entertainment is? what bothered me was the crap writing, i.e. lack of style or good characterization or anything like that. it is a novel and work of fiction so calm down.

We wouldn't because we all know the holocaust -did- happen. Christ's life though, that's all up in the air. The Davinci Code was so popular becasue none of us really have any substantial data concerning the life of Jesus and it would be old-hat for the Church to try and hide anything that might usurp their power.
I just wonder how things would be different if Dan Brown had been alive back then and had chosen to write parts of the bible rather than some random patriarchial sage.
Alright, I've seen this happen WAY too much. Even though it sounds like that when it is pronounced, depending on your dialect, the "Would of" is actually "Would HAVE"... often said in a way that connotates "woulda" or contracted into "would've".

It's funny becasue none of us are seeing it anyway becasue it's a total flop.
