at least i pray a night to something other than the ceiling.....

I prayed to my ceiling when I was ignoring God last year.
I pretended that it was the popcorn ceiling that kept me from God.
In reality, it was only myself.
Better now.
I talk to God, not ceilings.

But as far as speaking to God goes, you do know you're just talking to yourself, right?
Instead of praying, I write long dialogues to myself about the current issue I'm having. I find it much more creative and direct, and I have a lasting record of that day without the boredom of keeping a journal.
