Jesus, you're right! It's like they're burning our brains to keep their classrooms warm because the school system cut their budget for indoor heating in the winter.
^that's a nice analogy!
because its enloe.
ugh, we gotta cut this "enloe sucks but we love it cause it makes us better cause we're enloe" crap. I swear, there are weeks when I have absolutely no work, like last week, and then there are weeks like this week where I have years of homework due.
Amen sweet Jesus, rain down on us sum of that thar heavenly wisdom!
Enloe rocks, the facilities suck; its all part of that cool thing we call education in NC.
I saw the other day on CNN that teachers in some northeast state (New Hampshire, maybe?) are complaining about base salaries of $92,000 - demanding at least a 2% raise. o_O
Last I checked, base salary for a teacher with 5 years experience in WCPSS (best pay grades in NC) is between $20,000 and $25,000.

The state was Pennsylvannia.
I'll play devils advocate here, but most of the time that we have a lot of homework due in one week, 90% of the assignments were given to us 3, 4 weeks ago...
Maybe for you.
Well, okay, so we procrastinate. It's a life skill!
It was all in The Eagle's Eye. Check it out, people.
