Why do I always fall for the wrong guys? I mean, he is so beautiful and considerate and nice, but (a) he has a girlfriend and (b) he treats me like the little sister of his best friend that I am.
And here's my best friend: her crush talks to her and treats her like he really enjoys listening to her opinions, even if said opinions are a bit wacko at times. He stares at her too, like he can't figure her out, and wants to know what she's really like. And he is quite handsome, in that dark and liquid-eyed way.
Damn. There must be something wrong with me.

So, there's nothing wrong with a crush. If we could control these darned hormones, life would be a lot easier.
What I meant was wrong guys, as in taken ones that I have no hope of being with. :-(
He has been going out with his girlfriend since 7th grade (he's in 11th now) and they plan to go to the same university and get married, etc.
Also, she is so rude, she doesn't deserve him. She's so mean and nasty and petty where he is kind, considerate, well-mannered, sweet, and funny.

She must have some good qualities if he likes her so much.

Well, yes, it may be partly that.
But also, she is, by common opinion, bitchy in general. She is one of the types (you know of some, too, I'm sure) who goes around, messing up other people's lives- she turned the most of the school against a dear friend of mine, and eventually, my friend left and went to a private school because she just couldn't stand being tortured all the time.
I hate people like that. They have the ability to alter the beliefs of those around them, and what do they use it for? Selfish personal issues.

This would all be okay if dark, beautiful and liquid eyed didn't have a massive crush on somebody else...or maybe they're just good friends. SHIT!
