Pro-choice doesn't mean pro-death. It means they think that a person has a right to choose what they want to do with their body: power to the people instead of the government.
pro-choice doesn't mean pro-abortion. just like "pro-life" doesn't usually mean pro-life (anti-abortion, anti-death penalty). these terms are so misconstrued.
The "pro-life" argument is arguably not actually about people thinking of the babies. To the very naive it is, but the politics behind it boil down to a control of women. Treating women as objects to be commanded rather than as individuals who make choices about their own bodies. And before you call me out and yell at me for saying these things just 'cause I'm a girl, I'm a guy.
No one's treating women as objects. However, the woman chose to have sex, and as a result, has a responsibility to the child growing inside of her. If it's a great travesty if a terrorist blows himself up and kills a pregnant woman, how is that woman consciously killing her own child any different?
Again. It's not about control of women. It's about that woman's responsibility for the child, doing what's best for it. And I don't think anyone could argue that a newborn would be better off dead.
If the woman in question cannot have an abortion the safe way, she's all the more likely to get an illegal one from a guy in a Cary parking lot with a turkey baster and a steak knife. Don't give me that shit about her choosing to have sex. How would you like it if YOU got knocked up?
"Pro-life" does not support people OR babies. Pro-life means PRO-FETUS.

Honestly, is it really so much more preferable to force a child to grow up in a hom that's just not ready for him (or her)? Saying that abortion is murder always sounded alot like saying not having sex is murder.
I shouldn't have to say this last part but this is obviously just my opinion.
There's a difference. If you don't have sex you won't be preventing something that will become a human life from preventing it. Once that fetus is attached and growing inside the mother, that's what it will become, so you are killing it.
