Ever watch the rain?

Its so wonderfully soothing. I love falling asleep to the sound of rain on the roof, or just sitting and watching a dark storm out the window.
I found myself watching the rain a lot today....though a cold rain can be extremely depressing, unless you're listening to November Rain.
The sunrise is infinitely more beautiful. There is nothing in the world like watching the sun rise in some secluded spot, whether it be in the mountains or in Hawaii...
I dunno, the sunrise is early and bright and hurts your eyes, and while beautiful, the rain has feeling and sound as well as the plethora of sites you can get by watching it, whether from behind a windshield or looking up into the sky.
I vote for rain, because it can take so many forms, and all of them pleasant in their own way (even if unpleasant in other ways). A sunrise is a sunrise...and I'm rarely awake for them anyways.
Did you guys see the sunrise on wednesday? It was tres beautiful. I vote for sunrise, but rain is wonderful also, as long as it doesn't soak through your pants.

I, for one, am in Enviro class around the time of sunrise.
Do I enjoy them? Not during the school year.

In North Carolina, you don't have to choose. Because aroud here, you can see the sunrise WHILE its raining. What a wierd place.
