Post anything that you want - a story, a secret, a confession, a fear, a love - anything. Post twice if you'd like. And then share the site with your friends.
i know you OP, and i'm sorry it crashed and deleted all your homework. i hate windows too. school computers tend to do things like spontaneously turn off when i get near them.
^ Unless its a matter of not saving and the power goes out, there's always a way to get data off of a crashed computer. Go find a technically-inclined person (friend/parent/whoever) and they can get it back for you, though you might have to bribe them with a few dollars to compensate the 5 minutes of time it requires. ;)
No - if your hard drive dies, there's pretty much nothing you can do about it sometimes. Happened to me right before semester exams..almost the worst thing ever to happen to me (I had several VERY LONG works in progress on it). Fortunately a very kindly admin let me use his scanner to put some of my hard copies of drafts back on the computer. Moral of the story - computers suck, but yay for friends!
yea i wrote a twenty page paper and twenty articale summaries for a year long project and my mother board compeletly fried itself and my hardrive at 2 in the morning when i was just finishing it. This all happend last year the night before the whole thing was due.

Well, there are ways to prevent the power going out as well (at least for your computer). Hello uninterruptible power source!
