If you ask me, dinner before prom was more fun than prom itself.
Fewer expectations of magical brilliance, maybe?
Dagny Taggart thought "parties were only for people who had something to celebrate." That's why, I think, we had so much fun before the music started.

Pictures at my house were fun, dinner was better, prom was even better!
but then I was driven to Ryan's house and for some reason felt tired and sick all night but for some reason stayed up before finally deciding that I should go to sleep, but since everyone else was staying up I slept on a couch in a living room that just happens to get so much light that I woke up 3 hours after I went to sleep (7). It's now almost 11 and none of the other kids are up.
I hate this trapped feeling I have not knowing where the hell in apex I am and not having a car. Add that to the whole fact that I always get really down after fun things are over, and I am just not a happy camper right now.
:(
I must say, dinner at The Ridge was one of the most amazing meals I have ever had. And dessert. Don't even get me started on that. Six people. Six desserts. Wow, that was good.
Dinner was fun, prom = not so much. We missed most of it anyway, which kinda sucked.
Well, I could make Harry Potter references instead.
I don't know if the site could handle that level of allegorical awesomeness, though, so I'll just stick with Rand for the time being.
