Saying that in a group of enloe kids? Boy, you have one hell of a deathwish
Techincally, anonymous above, he or she was not -whining.- I detected no petulance in the tone, just annoyance. I believe the term you search for is "bitching" or "complaining"?
I used to hate gay people, and then i met some gay people who were responsible, intelligent and compassionate people.
I used to hate southerners and then i met some southerners who were responsible intelligent, eloquent and compassionate.
I used to hate black people and then i met some black people who were responsible intelligent and compassionate.
I used to hate Republicans and then I realized that they loved this country as much as I do, just in a different way.
I used to hate Jews but then i met some who were responsible intelligent and compassionate.
I used to hate Catholics but then i met some who were responsible, intelligent and compassionate
I used to hate whiners, and then i realized they just needed to be told not to whine.
I used to hate actors, and then i met some who were as intelligent, dedicated and hard working as i am.
I used to hate band kids and then i met some who were the same as i am.
I used to hate people from Broughton..., well i still hate people from Broughton.
Truly however, the only way to go through life is to judge men and women by their souls.
It is not easy to look past, color, race, ethnicity, religion, political persuasion or sexual orientation, but if you can look past those superficial things, you'll realized that we're all pretty much the same.
i used to hate people from broughton too... after they torched our bus.. after we killed them in basketball...that was a long time ago... still hate a lot of broughton people but some are friends

Me too, on all three counts actually. Let's be friends?
*revision: I don't HATE liberals. Most of my really good friends are liberal. But I HATE their economic and political philosophy.
me too, i hate all of them. blah blah blah
hate.
Fragi I don't think you have much chance to be friends with this person. I'm sorry. It's not really your fault... he's just not that into you.
love.
doc a.
Everyone's into me, Dr. A. Everyone's into my pants. Where have you been, lately?
Well, I hate people who whine about hating liberals, gays, and whiners. So we're even.

bitching seems to be appropriate.
Hm, I think I swing toward the sentiment against whiners, myself, though "whining" to me has a specifically negative, obnoxious connotation.
On another note, not everyone on Tangst goes to Enloe, in case you didn't know ;-)

Well said, second-to last anonymous. Well said.
Anonymous 4. There are no words.
. . . who could ever hate band kids?! :D
because, this one time...
I agree whole heartedly, eloquent (and well cited) anonymous above. Hatred stems from ignorance.
